How do communicate effectively with others?

Effective communication is the foundation on which happy relationships are built. Without good communication, partners are more likely to have misunderstandings, arguments and even break-ups. Strong communication builds trust, understanding and helps each partner feel loved and appreciated in a relationship. The good news for those of us who want to improve our relationships is that communication skills are learned, so you can follow some basic tips to practice how to communicate effectively with others, and put yourself on the road to relationship bliss.

IMPROVE YOUR COMMUNICATION!

STEP 1

Make communication a priority. Set aside time to talk with your partner every day, whether it's in person, by phone or video chat. Having a time to touch base with each other is important because it allows you both to talk about your feelings and concerns as they arise so they don't build up and become overwhelming.

STEP 2

Listen to your lover. Practice active listening skills by tuning in to what your partner is saying, asking questions and avoiding interrupting. It's important for each person to feel heard in a relationship, and listening will help you better understand your partner's point of view.


STEP 3

Express your feelings and thoughts. You will feel happier and more fulfilled in the relationship when you feel listened to and cared for, and the only way to let your partner know what you want and need is to tell her. Use "I" statements such as "I feel" and "I would like" and avoid using accusatory or critical statements. On the other hand, do not apologize for your point of view--just calmly state it.

STEP 4

Offer praise. Be positive and encouraging, and the other person will feel safe and loved and be more likely to open up to you in the future. No one wants to feel unappreciated or taken for granted, and offering compliments is a great way to show your appreciation.

STEP 5

Be open-minded. Try to avoid making judgments about the other person's appearance, and if he does something you disagree with, be clear that you disagree with the action not the whole person. Try to see things from your lover's perspective and it will help you be more open-minded.

STEP 6


Be respectful, even when arguing. Avoid name-calling, blaming, accusing and being too critical. When you are upset, take some time to collect your thoughts and feelings before you speak, or you could end up saying something that will hurt your partner and weaken the relationship.













Feel Nervous and Overcome Nervousness !!!

Why do i feel nervous??


I never really thought much about a lot of things, and life was just easy and went on worry-free. I always was shy, and wished to be more outgoing, but it didn't ever really bother me that much. I really didn't think about it.

Anyway, staying on track, this year I have developed an insecurity with getting up and speaking in front of the class. Even speaking up in class is sometimes a challenge. I used to do these things naturally, but now I am constantly asking myself if I'm nervous, if I can talk, etc. I was on speech team at my old school, and I was going to do it this year too. But there was never a meet I could go to, so I dropped it. I feel strange about this whole thing, because I feel like I am more outgoing, and should be able to carry that with me to the front of the room to simply read off a paper or a little report. I think that maybe I feel I should be able to be at ease, and it's weird that I get nervous and my voice shakes. Now it's been a while, so I think I'm finally accepting my weirdness. I just need to deal with it when I'm up there. I know I'll get nervous, so what can I do while up there feeling helpless?


Why do i overcome nervousness??

First of all DON'T WORRY!! You can do it!!!

Giving speeches or presentations are very nervous for people who are not very confident but remember the teacher won't let the other students laugh at you!!!! believe me you will attract yourself if you are embarrassed then you will go red. Think about what you are going to do after the presentations or think of someone who you think is Proud of you and do it for them.

Trust me they won't laugh at you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know how you feel. Best techniques i find.....

1. Is to just focus on one person, way in the back row...probe not a good idea if its one of your mates because they might make funny faces at you lol....personal experiences
2. Don't talk fast. Take your time and slow down.
3. Take a deep breath
4. Don't ever imagine people in the underwear...doesn’t work!
5. Back yourself....believe in yourself. Believe that you will give a good presentation and you will.
6. I find that humor is a good icebreaker.....if you go up there a make a joke about your privation or something to do with it before hand, you will feel more confident and if they don't laugh, they haven’t got a sense of humors!

These are the things i find work best for me.

Today, I want share my informative speech about the negative effects of Fast Food.

Do you know what is fast food??? Do you like to eat fast food???

History of fast food… as we know, fast food is a western food.


Next… types of fast food.. Fast food refer to any poor nutrition food that is easily prepared.  Fast food may includes chips, hot pies , sandwiches,  burgers, kebabs, pizzas,  soups, and salads. It also includes drinks, for instance, milkshakes, and soft drinks. Here are the examples of fast food.

Ok, we proceeds with the advantages of fast food.

Fast Food Saves Time
People can order fast food on their way to or from work, without ever leaving their car, which is drive thru. Fast food is also designed to come in small packaging, So that people can consume it while traveling.

Light on the Wallet
Its means Eating fast food can save a lot of money for large families, students and anyone else looking to eat out without breaking the bank. Many fast food chains offer discount menus with foods costing. Customers also avoid having to leave a tip when they choose a fast food establishment over a typical restaurant.

Easy to find place
Some of the most popular fast food chains include McDonald's, KFC, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Dunkin' Donuts, and many more..

Disadvantages of Fast Food,

Even though Fast foods have a reputation for being low cost, easy and quick. But the regular consumer of fast foods may find that convenience comes with consequences. It is because fast food contains a higher amounts of salt, fats and calories.

Obesity
Extra calories can lead to being overweight or obese. As we know children nowadays like to eat fast food.. So the percentages of obesity among children increases from year to year.

With obesity come other problems like high blood pressure, the increasing of cholesterol and other related diseases of the heart that can lead to heart attack and many more serious  diseases. 

Next, How to stop eating so much fast food.

1.        First understand that the fast food industry is a business.
  
2.      Don't be fooled by false advertisements.

3.      Plan out your meals.

4.     Take a fast food meal and make it your own.

5.      Don't feel guilty.



Conclusion,

I want to inform you to stop eating so much fast food! Although fast food must be tasty, delicious cheap and easy, must importantly its everywhere.. As I said before, it play a role in obesity and weight gain and also diseases such as heart disease and diabetes on the rise.

It is very important to keep fast food consumption to a minimum.
This is a somewhat hard task, but its not imposible to avoid eating fast food.
